Progress is being made on a Millom play park.
A large area of the ground has now been dug up in preparation of the construction of the play park.
Councillor Simon Donnelly said: "Work is going well, the team up there are working hard on creating us a wonderful park and I can't wait to see the finished project.
"I would like to just say a big thank you to everyone for respecting the site and its boundaries.
"It makes the project move along a lot faster."
Work is hoped to be completed by May.
Cllr Donnelly added: "It's not really the time of year to build play areas but we wanted it ready for the hot weather in case children can't go on holiday!"
