The High Sheriff of Cumbria has announced an upcoming scheme which will be focused on supporting those living with dementia during lockdown.
Beginning on February 3, the Dignity in Dementia campaign will begin running free Zoom courses for family carers.
The plan will teach people how to make life easier for those suffering with the condition during a time where support can be difficult to access due to the Covid restrictions.
High Sheriff of Cumbria Julie Barton wrote on Facebook: "Dignity In Dementia is busy in lockdown three, supporting people with dementia and their family carers. I think their invaluable work is summed up beautifully by one family carer who wrote, 'Thank you for helping mum and I find each other again'."
