PLANS for a beauty business to move to the owner's home have been approved by Barrow Borough Council.
The applicant, who runs Salon 44 on Duke Street in Askam, applied for the change of use of a front dining room at their home to a proposed beauty room.
In a supporting statement, the applicant said the business had been running for six years but the pandemic has taken its toll financially.
It said the field of work was a huge passion for the applicant.
Neighbours surrounding the Duddon Road property in Askam were consulted.
