CUMBRIA Police has thanked the 'vast majority' of people who are abiding by Covid-19 rules.
The police force issued the thanks online saying that the community's efforts were 'saving lives.'
A force spokesman said: "Thank you to the vast majority of people staying home and respecting the rules.
"You are reducing the spread of the virus, protecting the NHS, saving lives and also giving our officers the time to help people, keep people safe and tackle crime.
"Thank you."
