INVESTIGATING: Cumbria Constabulary
AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after a car was set on fire on the A592 near Bowness.
Cumbria Police are investigating the incident of arson which occurred at around 12:25am on January 8 between Storrs and Bowness.
Officers reported that a Range Rover, with its wheels removed, was set alight.
A Cumbria Constabulary spokesman said: "Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or anyone with dashcam footage.
"Anyone with information is encouraged to contact PC 2868 on 101, quoting incident number two of January 8.
"Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111."
