A TOWN council has revealed when Covid vaccination is scheduled to begin in a South Cumbria health Centre.
Ulverston Town Council has announced that vaccinations are scheduled to begin on Friday at the Ulverston Community Health Centre as soon as the vaccination is delivered.
A spokesman for Ulverston Town Council said: "The Covid-19 vaccination programme for Ulverston is being organised by the Mid-Furness Primary Care Network, comprising GP surgeries in Ulverston, Dalton, Askam, Kirkby and Broughton.
"The vaccinations for the general public who are resident in these areas will all take place at Ulverston Community Health Centre.
"A large area of the outpatients department on the ground flood of the health centre has been cleared, and is being prepared for use for the vaccinations.
"Patients who are registered with a Mid-Furness GP will be invited to the vaccination centre by the NHS in priority order over the coming months."
