ADOPTED: Two tarantulas were adopted in 2020
AN ULVERSTON pet shop rehomed over 200 animals in 2020.
Little Beasties, based at the Auction Mart, revealed they rescued and rehomed 221 animals over the course of last year - not including the fish.
The work was made possible thanks to those who made donations and supported the store.
The rehomed animals included 29 rabbits, seven snakes, 12 lizards, five hamsters, 26 Guinea pigs, 24 birds, four tortoises, one axolotl, two gerbils, two tarantulas, eight rats and one chinchilla.
