PLANS for the creation of two ponds within agricultural fields have been submitted to the Lake District National Park Authority.
The site at Hare Hill Farm, Cartmel Fell, is 1,250 square metres in size and the application has been made by land owner Julian Lambton.
The grass fields are currently used for grazing livestock in the area.
The proposal will not increase the flood risk in the area and the surface water will be disposed of the existing water course, according to the plans.
