A SOUTH Lakes MP has embarked on a major running feat in aid of a local mental health charity.
Tim Farron has set himself the challenge to run everyday during January to raise awareness for Well Minds.
The organisation is a relatively new charity which aims to support young people aged 12 to 25 in south Cumbria to improve their wellbeing.
The Westmorland and Lonsdale MP kicked off the 31 day challenge by running eight miles on January 1 and has since run routes through Kendal, Sedgwick, Levens Park, Beetham and Heversham.
Mr Farron has been sharing his routes and progress, alongside a running selfie on his social media platforms.
