FURTHER disruption is expected for bin collection throughout January.
South Lakeland District Council (SLDC) has called for patience if residents' bin or recycling collection is missed.
The council said it is expecting disruption due to adverse weather forecast and staff absence due to Covid-19.
SLDC is anticipating further disruption through January as the colder weather continues.
A spokesman for SLDC said: "Please bear with us if your bin/recycling gets missed.
"We are expecting disruption due to adverse weather forecast and staff absence due to Covid-19 shielding.
"This is by far our busiest time of year and we may see further disruption through January as the wintry weather continues.
Thank you for your patience and understanding."
