FIRE crews attended a fire in Walney, Barrow-in-Furness, on the afternoon of Tuesday (December 29).
Walney fire crews were called out at just after four in the afternoon to reports of a building fire located on Westshore Road.
In a statement Walney fire station said that on arrival the crews discovered that the fire was due to a bonfire, which was producing 'large quantities of smoke.'
The fire was extinguished by the team using one hose reel jet.
