VOLUNTEERS are wanted for a beach clean on Walney as part of the 'Dynamic Dunescapes' project.

Cumbria Wildlife Trust are looking for volunteers to help do some beach cleaning along the dunes and shorelines of south Walney before the birds come back to nest.

The project, headed up by Eve Mulholland, is about rejuvenating some of the country's most important sand dunes for people, communities and wildlife.

You would also get to learn more about the Dynamic Dunescapes project and wildlife along the way.

Booking is essential. Group size will be limited to six including the leader.

The event, taking place on February 23, 2021 between 11.30am and 1.30pm, is subject to cancellation if adverse weather.

People are asked not to attend if you show any symptoms or have been in contact with anyone with Covid and to adhere to social distancing at all times.
