The sponsor of Barrow AFC’s ground has teamed up with Cumbria Local Enterprise Partnership (CLEP).
Progression Solicitors will be providing guidance to businesses affected by the Covid-19 pandemic as part of CLEP’s Business Support and Advice Programme.
The firm will offer advice on legal matters to businesses.
Headquartered in Ulverston, Progression Solicitors have offices in Barrow and across South Lakeland.
Fellow Cumbrian firms CWH Accounting as well as Dodd & Co Chartered Accountants will also be involved in the CLEP programme.
CLEP Project Manager Helen Atherton said: “We are delighted that we’re able to provide this service hand-in-hand with local professional service businesses and other business advisory organisations to ensure that support packages really do meet the needs of the individual business.
“It’s also extremely gratifying that we’ve been able to recruit three prominent local firms to help us in that process.
“The programme runs until 31 March 2021 and small and medium enterprises can access up to three hours of support, which can be delivered in a number of ways.
“Businesses will be able to benefit from the programmes at no cost, which means that demand is likely to be high and they are therefore encouraged to apply as soon as possible.”
