A CARLISLE man has been given a three-year driving ban and a fine for two offences of drug driving.
Jason Lee Farmer, 31, of Gilsland Road, pleaded guilty at the city’s Rickergate court to driving a Mercedes on June 7 while over the limit for a cannabis breakdown product.
The second offence was related to him having a cocaine breakdown product benzoylecogonine in his system while driving – just over three times the legal limit.
He was fined £200.
The city’s Rickergate court was told that it happened as he drove along Duarranhill Road in Carlisle. He must pay a £34 surcharge and £85 costs.
