A TRIAL date has been set for a woman accused of committing a £1.1million fraud.
Janice Margaret Johnson, 63, of Thwaites, near Millom, appeared at Preston Crown Court yesterday. She pleaded not guilty to fraud by false representation of a will and other associated documents in order to gain the cash.
She has been accused of making a false representation that a will, alleged to have been written by John Harper and associated documents, were genuine, intending to make a gain of £1.1 million pounds.
Her trial date at Preston Crown Court has been listed for May 23, 2022.
