CELEBRATE: New recruits have joined Cumbria and Fire Rescue team
NEW recruits have officially joined Cumbria's fire crews after months of intensive training.
Cumbria and Fire Rescue Service has announced that there are 16 new full-time firefighters who have joined the team.
The new recruits underwent 12 weeks of intensive training before they were able to graduate and work as fully qualified firefighters.
A spokesman from Cumbria and Fire Rescue Service said: "Congratulations to our new full-time firefighters who have successfully graduated following 12 weeks of intensive training."
