Resurfacing works at Grasmere's Red Bank Road car park have now been completed.
South Lakeland District Council confirmed today (December 3) that the works have concluded, adding that the car park has opened again 'two weeks ahead of schedule'.
The car park was closed on November 2, with the aim to re-open by mid-December.
