A MAN from Windermere accused of making indecent photographs of children is due to appear at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court tomorrow.

Robert John William Lishman, 36, of Birkfield Road has been charged with two offences dating between May 18, 2019 and February 20, 2020: possession of extreme pornographic image, images portraying an act of intercourse, or oral sex with a dead or alive animal, and possession of a prohibited image of a child.

The prior charge relates to an alleged 12 images which portrayed, in an explicit and realistic way, a person performing an act of intercourse with a live animal, namely dogs, pigs and cows which was grossly offensive, and a reasonable person looking at the image would think that any such person or animal was real.

He has also been charged with three counts of making indecent photographs or pseudo-photographs of a child: category A, B, and C indecent images respectively, between May 18, 2019 and February 19, 2020.
