A MAN from Broughton has been ordered to pay compensation for two counts of criminal damage, a court heard.
Garry James Brockbank of Hall Dunnerdale Farm in Seathwaite was accused of causing damage to a lock and chain as well as a wooden style belonging to Neil Temple on July 15 and July 21 respectively, South Cumbria Magistrates' Court was told.
The 63-year-old was ordered to pay £105.88 to cover the costs of the damaged property in Broughton and ordered to pay court costs of £135, totalling £240.88.
