Tesco Extra in Barrow
A BARROW man has been fined for stealing food from Tesco on Hindpool Road, a court heard.
Ian Andrew McDonald, 47, appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court on November 26 where he pleaded guilty to the theft of £26.52 worth of various food items from the supermarket on September 21.
The Longway resident was fined £80 and had to pay a victim surcharge of £34 as well as court costs of £85, totalling £199.
The court applied for deductions to be made from his benefits.
