Former Sedbergh School pupil Abbie Ward represented England women’s rugby union team last weekend.
The lock played in her country’s 25-23 win over France at Twickenham in an Autumn international.
Saturday’s game was Ward’s 21st appearance for the national team since making her debut against Italy in 2015.
It was two wins out of two against France as England had beaten Les Bleus the week before after a 33-10 win in Grenoble.
The win for Simon Middleton’s side meant they end their 2020 campaign unbeaten.
In addition to this, England will remain as the number one team in the world.
