A MILLOM church is thanking those who donated towards a collection for Boxes of Hope Cumbria.
Millom Methodist Church collected over 100 shoe boxes filled with Christmas presents with help from kind-hearted members of the community.
Broughton Mills WI was one of those who helped, donating 25 Christmas shoe boxes to the cause.
The presents were taken to a warehouse for checking, and will be distributed amongst children in Romania this festive season.
Church member Elizabeth Watson said: "Thank you to all who have contributed with bits and pieces for in the boxes, as well as money donations to cover shipping.
"A special thanks to Millom shoe shop Home & Sole for the shoeboxes.
"We are very grateful to all involved."
