AS PART of a new month long campaign, Cumbria Police's Bridgeway scheme is raising awareness of male victims of sexual assault.
The Bridgeway sexual assault support service provides assistance and support for all victims of sexual violence, and are working with the Police to raise awareness on this often overlooked issue.
Cumbria Police stated: "If you're male and have been the victim of rape or a sexual offence we would encourage you to report it to police so we can help.
"However, you can contact the Bridgeway for support regardless of if you report the incident to us or not."
