SEASON'S GREETINGS: Public can send e-cards to help mountain rescue this Christmas
THE public can support the work Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team (PMRT) does this year by wishing someone ‘season’s greetings’ digitally and donating the money saved on a card and a stamp.
A PMRT spokesman said on Facebook: "Something new for our supporters this Christmas - e-cards via Virgin Money Giving.
"Just choose your image, edit your message, make a donation (of course!) and share seasonal greetings and goodwill with your friends.
"A huge thank you to the photographers who've let us use their images too."
