BARROW Community Kitchen are appealing for gifts and food to give to struggling families this festive season.
After what has been a tough year for many people, facing battles both financially and mentally, the team want to spread Christmas joy to as many people as possible.
They are looking for donations of any new gifts of items such as selection boxes, toys, clothes, books, dolls and toiletries.
They are collecting for people of all ages, so a wide variety of gifts are gratefully received.
Donations of wrapping paper and Sellotape will also be welcomed.
To make a donation, drop the presents off at Barrow Community Kitchen in Roose on Saturday and Sunday from 1pm till 3pm.
The Shell Garage in Barrow are also collecting the donations.
The Barrow Community Kitchen team are still collecting every day food items to distribute to vulnerable families as normal.
The team has already seen lots of kindness from the community, with donations already pouring in for the Christmas scheme.
