Prime Minister Boris Johnson has appointed MP Andrew Griffith as the UK’s net zero business champion.
The role was launched yesterday as part of the Government's mission to drive down carbon emissions, to the net zero target by 2050 and "showcase the UK’s place as a global leader in tackling climate change,"
Over the next year, Mr Griffith will be speaking to firms as they launch new products, attract investment and create jobs.
He said: "Business has a central role to play in making the transition to a low carbon economy.
