A BARROW man has been given a 16 prison sentence, suspended for 18 months, for breaching a community order, a court heard.

Jamie Lipscombe, 44, of Rawlinson Street admitted to violating his curfew on August 7 and August 18.

South Cumbria Magistrates' Court imposed the curfew on July 7 after he was convicted of being in possession of a sharply pointed article.
