Ulverston Self Isolation Group is encouraging kind-hearted members of the town to take part in a Christmas card appeal.
The group is collecting cards, letters and postcards to give out at Christmas to those who are living in care homes in the area.
It is also accepting small gifts such as soaps, hand creams, biscuits and chocolate.
All of the items that are donated will be quarantined before being handed out to keep care home residents safe.
People can drop off any donations that they have from now until December 12.
The drop off locations include: The Squirrel Shop, Town Council office, Croftlands Launderette, 42 Watery Lane, The Red House on North Lonsdale Road, and 31 Windsor Crescent, Croftlands.
