ENQUIRIES are ongoing after three cars were damaged in a crash on Tong Street yesterday, West Yorkshire Police said this morning.

Police confirmed today that there were no injuries reported as a result of the collision, although they are still appealing for information after suspects fled the scene.

The crash caused Tong Street to blocked, close to the retail block where Subway is, but the road was later cleared.

Just after 9am this morning, police issued an updated statement on the incident.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Police were called at 12:38 to reports of a road traffic collision on Tong Street on Sunday 25 October.

"Emergency services including an ambulance attended.

"Three vehicles were damaged during the collision, these included a grey Toyota Auris, a black Ford Focus and a silver Citroen Xsara.

"Suspects were seen fleeing the scene of the collision.

"There were no reported injuries and enquiries are ongoing.

"Anyone who witnessed the collision or has any dashcam footage is asked to contact the police via 101, quoting log number 821 of 25 October."
