BARROW Community Kitchen Hub have offered free lunch for vulnerable children this week.
The free lunches for children will run from Monday, October 26 until Friday October 30.
They will be parked up outside the following schools from 12.30pm until 1pm for any parent to collect a meal per child:
- Roose School (North Row)
- Brisbane Park Infants (Blake Street)
- St George's (School Street)
- They are also available to to collect from Roosegate Community Centre.
They cannot deliver to individual households, or give out meals without a responsible adult present.
The menu is as follows:

2 items of fruit
Snack bar
Drink and a cake.
Tuesday

Egg mayo or Ham Sandwich
Crisps
Yoghurt
Snack bar
2 items of fruit
Drink and a cake.
Wednesday

Meat and potato pie and beans
2 items of fruit
Drink and a cake.
Thursday

Tuna Mayo or Cheese Sandwich
Crisps
Snack bar
2 items of fruit
Drink and a cake
Friday

Jacket potato with tuna or cheese filling

Drink and a cake
Plus a Halloween treat
