Drug driving
A MOTORIST has been banned from the road for drug driving.
Robert Osbourne was charged with driving his Ford Mondeo having taken cannabis on March 11.
The 53-year-old admitted the charge when he appeared before South Cumbria Magistrates' Court.
Magistrates sentenced him to a fine of £135 alongside a £32 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Additionally, Osbourne, of Duncan Street in Barrow, was banned from driving for a total 12 months for the offence.
