MILLOM Town Council have confirmed that they will not be organising a Remembrance Day parade this year.
In a council meeting, using guidance provided to the council, they came to the decision that there will be no parade on November 8.
However, there will be a wreath laying ceremony on November 11 which will take place throughout the day, allowing anyone who wishes to lay a wreath to do so as long as social distancing guidelines are adhered to. These will take place at Millom Cenotaph and St Luke's church.
