A MOTORIST who failed to stop for police has been order to carry out unpaid work.
Christopher Freeston was charged with failing to stop for a constable while driving in Millom on May 30.
South Cumbria Magistrates' Court heard the 41-year-old also had no licence or insurance when he was found to have driven on Main Street in Haverigg.
Freeston, of Oxford Street in Millom, admitted the charges and was banned from driving six months and told to carry out 75 hours of unpaid work. He was handed a £95 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
