BARROW AFC has spoken out about their excitement of being featured in the ever popular video game FIFA 21 which is due to be released to the public on October 6 for those who have pre-ordered and October 9 for the rest of the world.

This will be the first time the players from The Bluebirds have featured on the game having secured promotion into the English Football League last season.

The club is keen to see the fans take up the club and play with their favourite players to go for a career mode run all the way to the Premier League.

Doing so could mean you see the likes of Sam Hird going one-on-one with the games cover star Kylian Mbappé.

A spokesman for Barrow AFC said: "We are really excited to see Barrow included in FIFA21 and we are looking forward to seeing how our fans – and those from all around the world – get on when they play as The Bluebirds.

“A few of our own players are keen FIFA players who will be looking to take the club up through the divisions and in o the Champions League.

"So hopefully plenty of Barrow fans can buy the game too and keep us updated on their own progress!”

The players ratings have also been showcased with Ultimate Team cards being released which shows a Silver Card being given to one of the Barrow stars.

Bobby Burns has been given the best overall rating of 65 with Silver Card, so the Left Back can have some bragging rights among his teammates who all have bronze cards for the moment.

All that may change if Barrow get a run of form this season as FIFA tends to give some in-form players ratings boosts throughout the season.

Luke James took the mantle as the fastest player with a pace rating of 75.

EA Sports revealed new innovations in fan favourite modes coming to FIFA 21. From more ways to play with friends through new social elements, to having more control than ever to manage every career moment, players can experience 'The World’s Game' like never before.

Fans of Career Mode can take their team to the top by managing every moment, with new innovations that create additional depth in matches, transfers, and training.
