Household waste and recycling centres (HWRCs) across the county are experiencing higher levels of demand than usual, says Cumbria County Council.
All 14 HWRCs in the county are open, but are facing increasing demand, waiting times and traffic congestion. Residents are urged to continue using local district council's kerb-side collections for general household waste and recycling.
