ARREST: Police arrest a teen on suspicion of assaulting an officer
A TEEN has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer outside a home in Barrow.
Officers attended Douglas Street in Barrow on Tuesday evening and arrested a 14-year-old girl on suspicion of a public order offence and assaulting a police officer.
The teen has since been released under investigation whilst enquiries continue.
A police spokesman said: "Officers attended Douglas Street and arrested a 14-year-old girl on suspicion of a public order offence and assaulting a police officer."
