A NEW Ulverston takeaway raised a huge amount of money for St Mary’s Hospice whilst marking their opening.
Pizza Time, based on Market Street, Ulverston, is run by Sarah Jayne, 44, from Barrow, who works as an adult support worker and special educational needs teaching assistant.
A spokesperson for St Mary’s Hospice said: “A massive congratulations to Sarah Jayne and the Pizza Time team who managed to raise £1050.60 on their opening night for the Hospice.
“You guys smashed it! Thank you to everyone who showed them some support.”
