Two free courses are being offered to help managers and business leaders adapt to the changing world of work.

Lancaster University is running the eight-week Leading Well Under Pressure and Managing Teams in Uncertain Times courses to tackle issues highlighted by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The work-based programmes, starting in October, will be delivered by Lancaster University Management School’s Centre for Executive Training and Development .

They will blend independent digital learning with live webinar sessions providing interaction with Lancaster University tutors and the opportunity to network with other participants facing similar challenges.

Managing Teams in Uncertain Times is for team leaders and managers, and addresses issues faced by companies where Covid-19 has enforced the move to working outside traditional norms.

Leading Well Under Pressure is for managers with strategic and operational responsibilities.

It is designed to help them be conscious of the effects of pressure on their own emotions and make the right decisions while supporting their employees at the same time.

More information on the courses and how to sign up can be found on the university's website.

Places will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to participants meeting the necessary entry requirements.
