A TALENTED Barrow-born musician who created a fundraising album along with other artists in the Furness area has made a donation to Barrow Foodbank.

In June, Jonny Swift, 38, released the album ‘Bags of Love’ which was put together to raise money for the vital Cumbrian service which has found itself stretched during the coronavirus pandemic.

The album contains 18 tracks, all performed by artists from the Furness area.

Some of the artists include Sugarfoot, Shaun Blezard, My Dad Zeus and Jamie Bosanko.

A representative of Barrow Foodbank said: “Big thanks to Jonny Swift who pulled together a digital collection of songs ‘Bags of Love’ as a fundraiser for us.

“We’ve had so much brilliant feedback on the collection of tracks by local artists and today Jonny made a donation of £250 proceeds raised.”
