AN application has been approved to increase the number of homes on a large development to 75.
Carlisle City Council planners have given the green light for Story Homes to expand their Aspen Grange site on land at Greymoorhill on Kingstown Road in Carlisle.
The application means seven additional homes will be built on the site.
The plans were approved on Friday (August 7).
Planners received the application for the initial 65 homes last December.
The makeup of the homes will be that five are affordable - three two bedroom homes and two three bedroom houses.
Eighteen of the properties will be social, affordable or intermediate rent - nine each of two and three bedroom properties.
Meanwhile, 44 of the homes will have four bedrooms or more and eight will have three bedrooms.
No objections were submitted by residents.
