A MAN who admitted a racially aggravated offence has been given a 24-week curfew.

Stuart Robin Parkinson, of York Gardens, Carlisle, pleaded guilty to one charge of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards Mohammed Jahanpanah on March 4, 2020.

Court papers, from August 7, said: "The court finds that this offence was racially aggravated."

The 55-year-old is now subject to a curfew and must remain at his home address between 8pm and 6am every day until January 21, 2021.

He must also pay £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and £90 to fund victims services.
