CREWS were called out to a fire involving a deep fat fryer in South Lakeland.
Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service (CFRS) attended the incident at Torver, near Coniston, at around 5.50am on Sunday.
Two fire engines attended the incident.
A CFRS spokesman said: βOn arrival crews discovered a fire involving a deep fat fryer and the building was smoke-logged.β
The spokesman said firefighting crews used breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and two thermal imaging cameras in order to extinguish the fire.
