A WHITCHURCH woman who specialises in Persian cooking has announced the launch of a new cook book.

Rebekah Jones, 38, of Haroldgate runs My Little Persian Kitchen has been running pop up supper clubs from Alderford lake for the past two years.

Because of the lockdown Rebekah has been unable to run these sessions and has turned her attention online instead, setting up a virtual spice market.

The success of this market means that Rebekah has now gone to the extra step of publishing her first cook book.

Rebekah says the new book is a must have for any kitchen fanatic.

"My Little Persian Kitchen is a collection of incredible flavours, visually stunning food and stories inspired by Persia," said Rebekah.

"The delicious and the mouth-watering recipes in this book will delight and have you going back time and time again for more.

"My Little Persian Kitchen will have you cooking in no time with easy to follow recipes.

"This book is a must for all the amateur or the professional chefs out there, who want to bring a little bit of the Middle East to their table."

The book will be released on August 27 and is available to pre order from pegasuspublishers.com/books/rebekah-jones/my-little-persian-kitchen
