ONE of Wrexham's most famous watering holes is to reopen this week.
Pints of the town's iconic lager will once again be pulled at the Wrexham Lager Club from 5pm on Friday (August 7).

Staff at the club on Union Road have been looking forward to welcoming regulars back since it was announced that lockdown measures were to be further eased for Welsh pubs and restaurants.
There will be strict hygiene and social distancing measures in place.

The club posted on Facebook: "Here at the Wrexham Lager Club we can't wait to welcome you back from Friday 7th August!"
The Wrexham lager club will be open for business again on Friday. It adds: "As we welcome you back we have put some new guidelines in place to protect our customers and staff in line with government regulations.
"A one way system will be in place throughout the pub, with entrance and exits clearly labelled.
"Social distancing signage has also been placed around the club for your guidance.
"Upon arrival and during your visit, please use the hand sanitiser available to reduce the risk to yourself and others."

The post adds: "Before ordering we are required to take your contact details by law for track and trace purposes.
"Only one person is allowed at the bar at any one time. Please move away from the bar and take a seat once you have been served.
"Please be mindful of staff and customers alike as we get used to a new norm in the Club.
"We can't wait to see you soon!"
