RESCUERS were called out after a woman injured her ankle and was unable to bear weight after falling while descending Helvellyn on foot.
Keswick Mountain Rescue Team met at the Wythburn Church car park and walked to meet the casualty, who was already being treated by paramedics.
The woman was transported to an ambulance in a team vehicle after last Tuesday's injury.
