A VITAL Barrow service geared towards helping the elderly community is seeking 'befrienders' to help combat loneliness.
Age UK Barrow and District are looking for volunteers who can spare a few hours each week to chat to one of their clients over the phone.
Service users have found themselves in need of a friendly voice during the pandemic.
