COURT: South Cumbria Magistrates' in Barrow
A MAN has appeared in court after being accused of drug driving on a motorway.
Sagir Sawar was charged after he was alleged to have driven his Volvo S90 on the M6 southbound near Junction 36 on August 25 2019.
The 51-year-old defendant, of Greentree Drive in Glasgow, was said to have had a breakdown product of cannabis in his blood. Appearing at South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court in Barrow, the defendant pleaded not guilty to the offence.
Another hearing will take place on September 24.
