Drivers are being warned to expect roadworks this summer and autumn
IMPROVEMENT work on section of the A590 has been completed.
The road was closed between Askam Roundabout and Ulverston Road roundabout between July 24 and July 28.
Work was being carried out to renew the road marking as part of major upgrade of the road by Highways England.
The road was closed between 10pm and 5am.
An official detour was put in place.
