The property in Lowick Green, near Coniston, was sold for £325,000 having been listed with a guide price of £315,000.
A listing online said: “Part of a former mill dating back to the 18th century, the property is filled with history and a wealth of original features.
“Stunning gardens of approximately 0.75 acres wrap around the property and include woodland and a stream.”
The Auction House Cumbria sale took place in an online live stream.
