TESTS: Furness General Hospital, part of the UHMBT
THE University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust (UHMBT) is now offering routine coronavirus tests to those admitted to its maternity services during the pandemic.
The trust is supporting the effective management of Covid-19 in healthcare settings, by offering routine swabbing for Covid-19 to all admissions to UHMBT maternity services and their birth partners, as of yesterday.
Expectant mothers will be provided with further information at their ante-natal appointments and at the time of their admission.
